Developed as my premier development deployment at BSDXR, this project focused on auditing, updating, and significantly scaling an established, immersive industrial training simulation. The core objective required deep-diving into legacy codebases to completely modernize mechanics, interface handling, and physical feedback vectors.
By reviewing, refactoring, and optimizing outdated code loops, I updated the program pipeline to ensure total compatibility with the newest version of Unity.
Simulation Operational Modules:
Legacy System Modernization: Deep audit and refactor of an established codebase to update mechanics, interface handling, and physical feedback vectors for full compatibility with the latest Unity version.
Modular Training Booths: Grid arrangement of protective simulation stations, each equipped with interactive tool benches, protection gear, and dedicated power modules.
Classroom & Briefing Staging: Dedicated instructional zones for classroom-style briefings and supply configuration ahead of hands-on welding practice.
Compliance & Egress Infrastructure: Protective safety garment racks, first-aid stations, and clearly mapped egress paths integrated throughout the facility layout.
