This was a really unique project for me — an interactive touch table application developed at Bit Space Development Ltd. (BSD) for Manitoba Egg Farmers (MEF), designed to give visitors a fully immersive educational experience around egg production. The final installation runs on a 43" touch screen at the Farm and Food Discovery Centre in Glenlea, MB, putting an engaging hands-on learning tool directly in front of the public.
My work on this project spanned the full software development pipeline — from 2D UI design all the way through to 3D modeling of hen and egg anatomy. I built out the interactive asset viewer that lets visitors explore the anatomy of an egg layer by layer, the full egg reproductive cycle, and the grading system that determines how eggs are classified and distributed. I also integrated AI-generated dialog and text descriptions throughout the experience to make the educational content feel dynamic and engaging for all ages.
Beyond the touch table installation, the software was also optimized for deployment on tablets and smartphones, making it accessible to anyone through Manitoba Egg Farmers directly — well beyond the walls of the Discovery Centre.
• Installation Site: Farm and Food Discovery Centre, Glenlea, MB — running on a permanent 43" touch table display.
